Funds and Prayers for My Mama

This is supposed to be a campaign for my mother’s medical treatment..It's not my nature to ask help but my situation changed it all. I am Marianne Mae Palmes and my mother is Alona Palmes, I would like to ask help from anyone who is willing to help us. My mother is currently in Taiwan and is illegally staying there. I am appealing to all good hearted individual, because my mother has no medical insurance nor health plan.

She had been complaining of difficulty of breathing since January (we asked her many times to just come home but because my parents are separated she chose to stay there and work), because she is a hard working person she thought it was just because she is tired. March, she's having hard time bearing the difficulty of breathing so she went to see a doctor (doctor that only accepts illegal workers), did no laboraties but was prescribed medicine which she did complied. This goes on..see the doctor, prescribed oral medicine, see the doctor again, another set of medicine, but she wasn't relieved at all. Last Wednesday she can no longer tolerate her situation because apart from her difficulty of breathing, there's chest pain too. Along with her friend, she wanted to be admitted in the hospital but was refused because she doesn't have any papers to show. After an hour of searching for a hospital, thankfully 🙏 they were accepted. There, they found out she had tumor in her heart. This really is a breakdown!!

Because of my Mama's situation, we have decided that she surrender herself, and so she did. Apparently, the hospital she is in is small and not able to do such surgery. At night she was again transferred to a bigger hospital. And because she surrendered herself, police came and later found out that she has a case of stealing 😢. Worst part of all is that in the ER my mother is already in pain but they had to put chain on her hand and foot 😭😭😭. She wouldn't run!!! Right there and then I wanted to fly despite this pandemic and be with her because I'm sure apart from her physical pain, emotional pain is there too. The police said "she is a wanted criminal". But how?! When there's no verdict yet!! I know this is God's challenge, but I'm not strong enough to face this. I don’t know what to do anymore! Our relatives are helping but not much because they have families of their own too.

Mama has atrial myxoma, a benign tumor in the heart but Huge, her superior vena cava is enlarge and the doctor said she needs operation as soon as possible because if not this will lead to Myocardial Infarction and will cause her life. Her lungs has fluids too. It's very painful to see her suffer 😭 add to that she was saying sorry because right now she is a burden to us. But MAMA YOU ARE NOT!!! I love you!! We love you..you are not alone.

I have one older sister (married with three kids, and one younger brother-he doesn't know our mother's situation yet). My sister had sent 100 thousand (from loan) for our mother to pay for her previous hospital and for her medicine. But the doctor strongly suggest that we do operation so her regurgitations will be corrected. Sadly, the amount needed for operation alone is 1 Million Pesos or more if done in Taiwan - an amount that stop my world because we don't have that. I am just a contractual employee, our family and combined relatives doesn't have enough money as well.

Please, I beg you!! Deep down in my heart help me..help my mother..help our family. Any amount that you can spare will be highly appreciated. I have no means of returning the favor apart from praying for you. Your kindness will not go unnoticed.
