Fund Entrepreneurial Holiday Camp for Children

In 2016 November I was privileged to have a 1 year contract with the Directorate of Naval Education here in Nigeria. It was amazing what these students were able to achieve. In the first holiday during Christmas break, the students were challenged to pick a project and see how much they could raise from it. Some were able to come with up with a business idea and raise almost N50,000 (about $135).

In another state, a group were able to design afforable and durable school sandals for students using available materials.

By the end of the project we were able to raise awareness of entrepreneurship in the minds of the young. They came up with wonderful ideas, even educational apps.

The project has ended and we couldn't fund the it to continue to develop these minds.

We tried raising it on our way but the recession made it almost impossible to do so.

I heard about this platform and have applied to this a few others to help us raise funds needed to generate these projects and these young entrepreneurs so they don't go to waste.

We need to raise $150,000 to create an entrepreneurial center for SMEs and an entrepreneurial holiday camp for students. Progress will be posted periodically on the our website, although a different website will be created for this.
