Full Marathon for Cyprus Crohn’s & Colitis Association

It has been 2 years since I ran the Limassol Half Marathon, driven by the desire to raise awareness for Crohn's disease and motivated by the overwhelming support and encouragement I received throughout the campaign.

With feelings of immense gratitude (as a result of YOUR generosity) this collective effort helped to:

1. Raise funds which were distributed to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, for research on Crohn's disease and colitis;
2. Hopefully encourage and inspire people who have to live with an ostomy bag, to overcome any social challenges;
3. Prove that, given the appropriate dedication and commitment, you can overcome any obstacle.

During that campaign, some people naturally wondered why my organization of choice was the American Foundation.

My answer was -and remains so- that my priority was to help fund any type of research that will aid in the discovery of a cure for future generations.

I did promise however that if I ever decided to repeat something like this, all funds raised will be allocated to the Cyprus Crohn’s and Colitis Association which needs tremendous help in order to provide physical and emotional support to its thousands of members. Here I am 2 years later fulfilling that promise and because repeating myself is not something I tend to do, this year I am running the Full Marathon instead. It won’t be easy but hopefully with your support I will push myself even further to cross the finish line.

I am therefore asking you, once again, to Donate, big or small, it does not matter. Together we have made a difference before - let's do it again.
