FROGS OF THE MADIDI ECOLODGE, BOLIVIA

EUROLATINO is a tour operator based in Konstanz on Lake Constance (Bodensee) and is committed to sustainable tourism. I am a native Bolivian but live in Germany since 2002 and together my wife run our company with travel deals for the German speaking travel market throughout Latin America. Bolivia is of course in our hearts and we have also founded a company there that offers incoming services.

Our commitment is also to support tourist destinations, to work with the local population and to improve the waitresses for the premises. We have already produced a sustainable project in the Bolivian Uyuni salt lake, the largest salt lake in the world, with the aim of, among other things: to reduce the gas emission.

Now we have been contacted by our working partner Madidi Jungle Ecologde and they have asked us for support.

Mr. Mauricio Pacheco and Alex Villca have carried out a research on extraordinary frogs in the Madidi National Park in northern Bolivia and want to further research on the habitat of these frogs and above all make the information known.

Madidi Jungle Ecolodge is one of the leading accommodations in Madidi National Park (see http://www.madidijungle.com/) and offers numerous tours for its clients. The owners of this lodging are Uchupamiona Indigenous people. In addition, they protect the environment with several projects and actions.

One of these projects is to protect and promote the wealth of Amphibia in Madidi National Park. For this they have prepared a pocket guide whose goal is to distribute it to visitors of the park and interested parties.

This Pocket Guide will be print in three languages (Spanish, English and German) and will be also distributed by EUROLATINO in all travel fairs and own marketing campaignes.

The tourist high season in Madidi starts shortly and we would like to have this pocket guide printed as fast as possible. Since the costs are considerably higher in Bolivia, we will print them here in Germany and deliver to Bolivia. Even so, the cost will be lower.

We will be very happy if everything goes according to plan. Furthermore, we would like to organize a terrarium for the research of these amphibians and to protect the various species of plunder.
