French course needed for medicine application

Hi everyone,

My name is Joana. I'm 16 and I'm Portuguese. My dream is to be a medicine student, and eventually one day to become an anesthesiologist and study abroad. However, my family is having very serious financial issues.

My dad used to have a very good job about 7 years ago. Some complications happened during his job, and he lost everything. He then moved to São Paulo, Brazil (half a world away) and opened various restaurants with a partner. They're not the most successful businesses, to say the least, but all the money he is able to earn is spent in my education. He works the hardest he can to allow me to study an international diploma (IB), so I can study abroad. I haven't seen him in a little more than a year.

This money will be used for a two-week summer programme in Paris, France. It's a language acquisition course, which will allow me to apply for French medicine universities. These universities are cheaper than UK universities, and therefore less of an economic burden in the future.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime. I would be forever thankful to anyone that helps.
