Keith is out of ITU and back on the neurology ward. We are no closer to a diagnosis which is very frustrating. He is making small progress every day. He can speak, sort of, he can't hold himself up and his arms and legs are like lead weights. He's now eating, small amounts and drinking water. It's been the hardest thing I have done in my life.. But just imagine how scared he must be. He was shocked when I told him the date, he can't believe he's been in hospital almost 2 weeks. Thank you, each and every one of you for your donations. Keith is determined to get better and we have been doing physio all day.. He wants to go home on a normal flight and not a special one.. I am hiring the Nurse to work the night shifts from when I leave.. And family will continue to be here during the day as he reacts to us and I believe this is the best way forward. Once back in the UK he will need extensive physio to try to get back to some sort of normal life.
