Last Saturday our Junior Chess players participated in the LPCA Developmental Chess Championship organised by Lusaka Province Chess Association which was held at The Italian School of Lusaka. The Tournament which attracted more than 55 players from various Schools and Academies within Lusaka Province had 9 sections, under 18, under 16, under 13, under 10 and 8 for boys, while girls had under 18, 15, 13 and 10. Our players who are currently preparing for the upcoming Africa Youth Chess Championship, which will be held in Namibia next month, had a field day as the won 6 Gold Medals in the under 18 boys and girls, under 16 boys, under 16, under 13 boys and under 10 boys, 3 Silver Medals in girls under 18, boys under 16 and girls under 13 and 3 Bronze Medals in under 18 girls,boys under 16 and under 10 girls With your support and contributions as low as $10, you can get our Chesswizkids play against Africa’s best.
