As of January 12, after 8 bags of RBC and 6 bags of platelets transfused, her repeat CBC levels are as follows:

Hemoglobin: 10.5

* decreased from earlier CBC result of 11.2

* Normal range is 10-12

WBC: 11.3

* Increased from earlier CBC result of 83

* Normal range is 4.5-11

Platelets: 38

* Increased from earlier CBC result of 23

* Normal range is 150-450

Though blood count may not still be within acceptable levels, we are still positive that it continues to progress for the better.

Joy is scheduled to receive 6 more packs of Platelet concentrate. Hopefully it yields better results this time.
