As you all know just before Christmas, we received the fantastic news that Gizi is in remission.
Remission means that the chemotherapy was successful and all the leukaemia cells were destroyed, symptoms of the disease were stopped and the blood counts are returned to normal levels.All these being the starting point for the bone marrow / stem cell transplantation.
The second good news was, that within the family also a partial donor was found, Gizi‘s mother, who can help Gizi to get healthy again. After 2 months of praying and hoping we finally can see the light in the end of the tunnel. We started 2019 full with hope and energy!
Since the 5th of January the process for the transplant started. This process is again a long one, especially for Gizi. In order to receive the new blood cells, she has to receive a very aggressive chemotherapy. On Tuesday (10th of January) the 6-day long chemotherapy started. Meanwhile the donor’s blood is getting prepared for the transplantation (for more information how this procedure is done you can read: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stem-cell-transplant/what-happens/).
Today (16th of January) the waited transplantation will happen.
Currently Gizi is feeling weak, as a side effect of the chemotherapy, but she is a warrior, the strongest one anyone can imagine.Knowing the so many of you are praying and thinking of her, gives her a lot of power to conquer also this period.

Ahogyan már tudjátok, Karácsony előtt fantasztikus hírt kaptunk, Gizi remisszióban van. Remisszió annyit jelent, hogy a kemoterápia sikeres volt, a leukémiás sejtek elpusztultak, a betegség tünetei lecsillapodtak és a vérsejtek ismét normális értékekre változtak. Mindez kiindulópont egy csontvelő átültetés esetében.
A másik nagyon jó hír, hogy a családon belül sikerült parciális donort találni: Gizi édesanyja. Két hónap ima és remény után végre látjuk az alagút végén a fényt. A 2019es évet így tele energiával és reménnyel kezdtük el.
Január 5-én elkezdődőtt az átültetési procedúra. Ez a folyamat ismét egy hosszú és bonyolult folyamat. Annak érdekébe, hogy Gizi megkaphassa az új vérsejteket, egy nagyon agresszív kemoterápián kell ismét átessen. Január 10-én, kedden, elkezdődőtt ez a 6 napos kemoterápia. Ma (Január 16.) megtörténik a várva várt átültetés.
Jelenleg Gizi nagyon legyengült, mindez a kemoterápia mellékhatása, de Gizi egy igazi harcos, a legerősebb akit valaki el tud képzelni. Tudván, hogy mennyien imádkoztok érte és mennyien gondoltok rá, nagyon sok erőt ad neki, ami segítségével ezt a periódust is le fogja győzni.

Asa cum v-am anunțat, înainte de Crăciun am primit minunata veste: Gizi e în remisie. Remisia înseamna că chimioterapia a distrus celulele canceroase. Acesta este primul pas spre vindecare când se impune un transplant de măduva.
Cealalta veste buna a fost găsirea donatorului parțial: mama lui Gizi. Deci după două luni grele am început să vedem luminița de la capătul tunelului. Astfel 2019 promite a fi un an mai bun.
Pe 5 ianuarie a început procedura de transplant, procedură lungă și complicată. Pentru ca Gizi să poate primii celule noi de sânge, trebuie să treacă peste o perioadă de chimioterapie agresivă.
Pe 10 ianuarie a început partea de chimioterapie, care dureaza 6 zile. În tot acest timp se pregătește donatorul pentru transplant.
Astăzi (16 ianuarie) se trece la transplant.
În momentul de față Gizi e slăbită, e efectul chimioterapiei. Dar Gizi e o luptătoare adevarată, mai puternică decât ar crede oricine. Faptul, că vă rugați atât de multi pentru ea și atât de mulți îi purtați gândul, îi dau atât de multă putere, încât sigur totul o să fie bine și o să treacă peste tot.

Wie Ihr alle wisst, kurz vor Weihnachten haben wir die fantastische Nachricht erhalten, dass Gizi in Remission ist. Remission bedeutet, dass die Chemotherapie erfolgreich war und alle Leukämiezellen zerstört wurden, die Krankheitssymptome wurden gestoppt und das Blutbild wurde wieder auf ein normales Niveau gebracht. All dies ist der beste Ausgangspunkt für die Knochenmark / Stammzellen Transplantation.
Die zweite gute Nachricht war, dass innerhalb der Familie auch ein partial Spender gefunden wurde, Gizi’s Mutter, und Sie kann Gizi helfen, wieder gesund zu werden. Nach 2 Monaten Gebet und Hoffnung können wir endlich das Licht am Ende des Tunnels sehen.
Wir sind voller Hoffnung und Energie das Jahr 2019 gestartet!
Seit dem 5. Januar hat der Transplantationsprozess begonnen. Dies ist der Start eines schwierigen und langen Prozesses. Um die neuen Blutzellen zu erhalten, muss Gizi eine sehr aggressive Chemotherapie erhalten.

Zurzeit fühlt sich Gizi sehr schwach, als Nebeneffekt der Chemotherapie, aber sie ist eine Kämpferin, die stärkste, die sich jeder vorstellen kann. Zu wissen, dass so viele von euch an sie denken und für sie beten, gibt ihr viel Kraft auch diese Zeit zu überstehen.
