My husband, Whymper John Liwanag was diagnose last 2015 with End Stage Renal Disease secondary to IgA Nephropathy and has been undergoing dialysis treatment since February of 2017. Since then, he has been admitted and confined to different hospitals and later developed several complications due to his disease, like pneumonia, heart enlargement, myocardial ischemia, pericardial effusion and others. We are having difficulties with our finances because he couldn't work anymore since he got sick. His mother died years ago, and is just getting support from few loving family members.

If possible, he is praying to have a kidney transplant soon. He just wanted to live longer and spend some more time with our two kids, aged 5 and 3.

We do hope and pray you could be part of our journey to Whymper`s healing. You could also check our Facebook page : The Light Project , for our story.

*Just an update on his condition, earlier this day, [ July 30,2018] he got to see a cardiologist, and had his 2d echo results verified, the doctor referred him to have a trans-esophageal echocardiogram, according to him, based on the 2d echo results, a thrombus is seen on his right atrium that might lead to pulmonary embolism and could lead to a"not so good" situation. Please do help him heal and survive this ordeal.
