My father Roberto Ruiz Mejia got stroke last Friday morning(October 4), while he was at our home.

The affected area, which was responsible for breathing, seeing and hearing, was the bleeding pontine.

Medical professionals say that it would be imposible for him to survive a day, but miraculously, he was able to open up his eyes, move, and respond to us around 10 hours after.

An operation to remove the fluids from his head was recommended, but due to the chances that he might not be able to make it, we refused to consent it.

He deteriorated yesterday, but with the help of full medical support he was able to surpass it.

We are now currently admitted at Coop Hospital ICU here in Tagbilaran City Bohol, but we are advised to transfer to a bigger hospital once the CT scan will be repeated.

He is continually fighting for his life, and we want to fight with him. But we are starting to run out of funds. We already reached 80k for the first 3 days for the hospital bills and medications alone and still continues to accumulate on every day of stay in the hospital. That's why we, his son and daughters are calling for family, relatives, and friends if you could help us fight with him.
