For our dearest father

"I give you praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike..." - Matthew 11:25

Today, our father Oscar Alina has joined His creator. The gospel today reminded our family to submit to God's superior power. His sovereignty is unfathomable. He knows all things and He desires only what is best. Like a child who is carefree, trustful and teachable, it made us accept whatever it is that God allowed to happen. Anyway, He has been with us all along as He sent angels like you to aid us with our needs.

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us in our father's journey. We are forever grateful to each and everyone of you. As you include Papa Oscar's soul in your prayer, our family will also remember each one of you in our daily prayer intentions.

God bless all of you!

Our father had a seizure last night and had to be sedated to calm him down. He is scheduled to undergo a CT scan today to see if he suffered a stroke. As of last night, his lung is still swollen, protein albumin is low, urine level is low, creatinine is high and he has a yeast infection. So far his sugar level is normal.

Unfortunately today, he had a renal failure and would now require to undergo dialysis.

We are continuously praying and still hoping that our father will eventually get through all of these,

Our father’s condition is slowly progressing but we are seeing positive results. As of today, he is no longer 100% dependent on the ventilator and has now gradually stepped down to 40%. His BP has so far been stable since yesterday.

Thankfully as well, his kidneys (and other organs) are showing no signs of concern, except for his heart, which is still closely being monitored by his doctors. We are hoping and praying to see more improvements in the coming days.

Again, we reach out to you for your continuous prayer and support for our father’s speedy recovery.

Thank you all.

I only heard of this now. Tito Oca is in a better place now. Free of suffering. My deepest condolences to your family.
