For Nikki’s Brain Surgery

My sister Nikki was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma, August 2018.Back then she took Oral Chemo Drug to control the malignant tumors in her kidneys (bilateral). She continue to live with a normal life, goes to work, took care of her family and raised their kids as normal as possible. She was advised to take the Von Hippel Lindau Syndrome Test in the US but it will costs a lot to make it possible.

Come 2020, severe pain in the head added into her abdomen problem. It caused her so much which strained her from going to work and live a normal life with her family. She undergo brain and whole abdomen MRI. The Abdomen MRI results reflect that she still has malignant tumors in the kidneys, cysts in the pancreas with hemorrhage, dilated bile, myoma and gallbladder stones. While in the Brain MRI showed that she has a hemangioblastoma in the left cerebellum near the brain stem that is needed to be removed ASAP.

She already consulted an Internist (gastroenterologist), neurologist and a neurosurgeon on how to manage the problem. They said they needed to prioritize the brain surgery to remove the hemangioblastoma, and that will costs around 500,000 pesos minimum of 10 days recovery.

We are asking for your financial help to pursue the step by step operation that is needed to extend her living. After the brain operation and she already recovered, we wiill then seek the help of hepatobillary surgeon foe her abdomen problems.
