Introduction to Yemen....

• Since 2015, YEMEN "the largest humanitarian crisis around the world" (UNITED NATIONS).
• According to UNICEF, now every 10 minutes, a child in Yemen dies of preventable causes.
• From 30.5 million people, 24.3 million people depend on humanitarian aid.
• 12.2 million children facing famine, approximately 3 Million suffering of acute malnutrition.
• 1.7 million children of 3.6 million at all, are internally displaced.

80 % of Yemeni families do not know where their next meal will come from.

Displacement, lack of water, lack of medicines, an almost completely collapsed medical system, no education due to destroyed school-buildings, cholera on a large scale, malaria, dengue fever, localized floods, unsustainable food prices due to the blockade, and now covid-19 force the Yemeni people to fight for survival daily.

Children in Yemen can't play, go to school, sleep at night - many of them struggle to survive at the most existential level to not starve to death!

Hunger and diseases caused by malnutrition are the worst consequences Yemeni civilians - and especially children - have to face, so the assistance with food and medicine is the most important basic and urgent humanitarian assistance.

There are remote areas in Yemen, no one can go easily. Ghaleb can.
Necessary medical assistance is urgently needed, but difficult to obtain? Ghaleb can.

Yemen is under siege. It is difficult to preserve food and medicine.

Our third relief campaign aims to help saving the children and families most affected by the war and blockade in Yemen, with food baskets.

One food basket every family, is not only giving life to those, who are fighting for survival, it is also giving hope,

Each food basket costs $25 and will be enough for 1 month.

1 food basket contains:

• 25 kg wheat
• 5 kg rice
• 5 kg of sugar and
• 2 liters of cooking oil (vegetable)

You can also help by

• $15 is the cost of 3 cans of milk to feed one child for nearly a month.
• Saving a patient's life: Chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart problems, etc., by providing the vital medication for a month. the costs range from $5 to $30, depending on the type of disease.
• Provide monthly nutrition for a child with malnutrition.
• Saving a child's life in remote villages for medical treatment or surgery in specialized hospitals in Sana'a or Hodeidah.

We need your support, to provide food baskets and medicines to the needy in even the smallest villages and to support health-care institutions for the most suffering children and families.

- Ghaleb Mohammed Alsudmy, 44 yrs, a Yemeni humanitarian activist, studied business administration and lives in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, a father.

I believe in humanity and the right of all human beings to live in dignity, regardless of religious differences, gender or colour.

I have been working on the ground with my team since 2016. Children and families have been suffering because of foreign military intervention and the blockade imposed on Yemen in 2015.
My team on ground, all volunteers without charge: the wonderful photographer Daoud - Ayman - Jibril - Maged - Aibtesam - and my great friend Mufleh, may Allah mercy his soul.

I would like to thank my dear friend Ms. Toufaili for create this campaign for support my humanitarian work, and my brother Mike (our first campaign), and my dear friend Ms. Claudia (our second campaign), I would not be able to do, what i do, without a lot of wonderful, amazing friends from all over the world, who believe in humanity and my cause "our childrens tragedy". their trust and support is my real treasure. they are "angels on earth" for me, if you want... Our team decided to spend all your small and big donations to help the Yemeni people. So, except transfer-fees your donation will 100% be used for the people & children in need.

NOTE; Please, be aware, Platform charge 6.9% fee on funds raised (2.9% of which is a payment processing fee*) - making our fees lower as possible. There is also a small 0.30c handling fee that is applied to each donation made. All fees are automatically deducted from received donations.

All donations collected here, will be sent to Ghaleb Alsudmy in Yemen personally on monthly basis, or at reaching $1000, whichever comes first.
He will organize and oversee all food distribution processes and manage all processes connected to medical support.
