“Learn and Live” in Peru

So let's introduce myself shortly. My name is Vasilis Mastoras, I am from Greece and I love travelling, big challenges and helping others! Furthermore, I am part of AIESEC, the largest youth-led leadership development organization in the world and so far I have supported more than 100 Greek people to go to an AIESEC exchange program outside of Greece (either volunteer or professional). But now it's my turn!

Inspired from the Inca civilization and the amazing and peaceful view of Machu Pichu, for a lot of years my wildest dream was to visit Peru and especially Cusco, which is the city close to Machu Pichu.

Although because of lack of money (2000 euros estimated budget for travel costs, 1 month living expenses and insurance), but mostly because of fear, I always postpone the idea for the future. But from now on, I took a bold choice to ALWAYS DO THE THINGS I FEAR THE MOST!

That's why I want to take advandage of the Global Volunteer opportunity "Learn and Live" that AIESEC can provide for volunteerism in Cusco, Peru and make my dream come true, while I can impact the educational system in their society.

Learn and Live is an initiative, which has as main objective to strengthen and promote the learning of languages in an environment, which stimulates the cultural diversity, and interaction of Peruvian students with university students from all over the world. The Childrem are from 4 until 14 years old.

Finally, I want to prove to all Greek youth, that despite the hardships if you are so passionate about something and you are obsessed to achieve it, you can and you will. And I will prove it ;)
