US$300.00Donated So Far
As we seek a partner for our 501c3 USA donation, we were felt led to start a campaign with GoGetFunding. Feed My Lamb Kabarole (FMLK) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (Reg no. MIA/NB/2017/11/143) in Gweri, Uganda. The NGO is carrying out its activities in the fields of providing basic education to the vulnerable, empowering women/orphans and supporting primary healthcare. In February 2016, the NGO opened a community school, which currently has 140 students, all orphaned, street and disadvantaged children attending classes. We received our NGO certification and are fully registered as of February 2018. St Nicholas World Development Group (St Nicholas WDG) has been supporting FMLK in the building of the school, with teacher’s salaries and food for the children for the last over 10 years. With the growth and the school opening there is a great need for additional funding, partners and volunteers.
Please visit our website http://www.fmlkabarole.org/ and see our progress and efforts where we have self-sustaining projects well on the way. You will see fish ponds, livestock and gardens where the children are learning about agriculture, which in turn supplements nutrition in the daily meal from the gardens. The school is situated on ten acres and is outside the town of Fort Portal approximately 7 kilometers. Please consider a onetime or monthly donation and check us out on our Facebook page.
Watch out for the website details which will include volunteers opportunities, the children's needs and our stories of success which we are excited about and would like to include you in our journey. Please consider donating to FMLK. Each donation counts!
