I am a young Afro Trinbagonian (Afro - African decent, Trinbagonian - from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago) with a love and ambition for engineering. as such i would like to further my studies in Mechanical Engineering in the country with the wealthiest knowledge and history of Engineering, Germany. This has been my dream for the past 8 Years and now i am nearing closer to it becoming a reality.

In 2013 as I received my associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic engineering I set my sights on getting my Degree but anyone who knows me knows I set my sights high. GERMANY. From then on I made it my mission to find out the who, what, when, where and why to reach that goal.

Starting first with the language at the UWI for almost 2 years only learning basic German. After the classes were stopped because apparently German isnt as popular a language (who would have thought) the path seemed to have met an end. Then after taking a trip to Poland in 2016 the fire was rekindled. I came back the same year to Germany to do a Tour of the RWTH UNIVERSITY. Since then I've been going through the Alphabet of plans and finally "settled" on one

Over the past year I have been living in Aachen, Germany, parttaking in a German language course in order to fulfill my knowledge requirements to be accepted into a German university. Since I basically forgot the German I learned almost 5 years ago. However one of the prerequisites to attaining a Study Visa for Germany is Financial stability. The German Government demands that you have an account that can sustain a student with at least 850Euro per month for at least one year (as of 2020).

The journey is now nearing completion but the challenges so far have been many and so i have turned towards the internet for assistance. I currently cannot work (as per Language lerning Visa restrictions), But I do not intend to ask for the entire 10,000 Euro needed to fill the account but I do know that a little goes a long way.

I would hope to start my studies in the Winter semester this year (2020) Registration has already started but at this time, due to corona, my language exam has been pushed back until June. Upon passing these Exams i will be applying for universities.

I do hope to receive positive feedback and donations from all who may see this page. and i appreciate any donations of any kind. even cents.

Explanation of my Absence

Update posted by Christian Reeves at 07:46 pm

I know this campaign has been active since 2018. I did not share it anywhere because i just wasnt too comfortable with the idea of asking the internet for money. whether it was pride or shame, i felt something that made me stand in my own way. its now roughly. . . . .
