Fire Victims_Kaiye and Ruby

Hi! My name is Kaiye Roldan. I am trying to raise a fund for my family, who lost everything in the fire last September 11 at around 11:15 PM.

The incident occurred at Honradez/Verdad St., Barangay 439, Zone 44, Sampaloc, Manila City. A total of 35 families or 98 persons were affected including my co-worker, Ruby Marcelo who just had her baby less than a month ago.

I have lived in this house for 39 years, and I cannot express how devastating this is for my family. My family was saved, except for my 3 pet dogs to which I was not able to save. It was a harrowing experience, something that I thought could only happen in movies. We had to throw our seniors, nephews, and nieces through the window to ensure their safety, the fire got too big so fast that trying to save anything we can carry was already impossible.

Currently, we don't have electricity, water, limited food supply, basic needs (toiletries, school supplies), and medicines. This fundraising campaign aims to help my family and one of my colleagues, Rubylee, who also lives in the same compound to get some financial assistance for us to start rebuilding our lives again. I humbly ask for the generosity of those who have extra to share; it means HOPE for my family to rebuild our lives and start fresh.
