Campaign Story
Earlier today a fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Airport, Mandurriao, Iloilo City on Tuesday morning, March 5.
Based on initial information from the Bureau of Fire Protection in Iloilo City, the fire started at around 7:49 AM.
According to City Social Welfare District Office (CSWDO), 54 houses were totally damaged while 4 were reported partially damaged.
Fire victims were temporarily relocated at Mandurriao Elementary School while the local government units continue to provide basic assistance.
Based on the initial investigation of Bureau of Fire Protection, damages was estimated at ₱2.1 Million Pesos (USD$42,000) and local government units still seeking and asking for donations to the said victims.
