Another FIP Warrior going through treatment - Tokyo.

2 weeks ago, an adopter took in a sweet kitten (Tokyo) who, although shy and reserved, finally found a loving home. Tokyo was a stray who was living in bad conditions. Tokyo finally found her happy ending... A loving home and a big sister to take care of her.

Unfortunately, yesterday her home noticed something wrong with Tokyo and took her to the vet. She was extremely lethargic, and was not using her back legs and her sides were shrinking. She was just dragging herself up. Her back got boney overnight and her belly got swollen.

The vet checked for viral illness and got a positive result on Covid and ran bloods. Vet advised that when hyper cats like her deteriorated so fast, they weren't likely to last. Instead of telling us 'Sorry, I only had her for two weeks. I cannot handle her', the home took on the responsibility to give her treatment. However they need help raising the amount, which is 3,000e worth of treatment.

Can you imagine 2 weeks after adopting a kitten, you find out that they have to treat her and they need to cover this amount? Let's try to support this home who decided to give a kitten a better life.
