Finishing my beloved mum’s house…

As-salaamu'alaikum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu

This Ramadan, especially in this last 10 days, I would like your assistance to complete my mum's house; a project that has been ongoing since the land was acquired in the 1980s.

My intention is to raise the funds required and hopefully complete the house by January 2018.

My mother has been working hard all her life and is approaching her retirement age. She has raised me well and I would like to reward and surprise her with this project (she doesn't know about this by the way).

We have been issued a bill of quantities and invoice on how much the house will cost to complete. The total cost to complete the project is D1,980,275 Gambian Dalasis (approximately £32,261/$46826 using xe.com). The first phase will cost D375000 (approximately £6075.00/$8724.92 using xe.com). Whatever amount you can contribute would be much appreciated. We are aiming to complete the house by January 2018 and raise the first phase funds by October 2016.

We will update you as the project goes along with photos/videos/comments and via social media posts.
