Financial Burden – Jobless Parents with Liver Cancer Daughter 2 Years Old

Azilawati and Shahidan have three children, one of them were diagnosed with cancer. Their second daughter Aeyna, was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma when she turned 2 years old.

The family's ordeal began shortly after Aeyna was born. Everything seemed to be going well until, within the first year, they started to notice unusual swollen on her abdomen.

The couple monitored it and mentioned it in passing at doctors' appointments but at first it didn't seem pressing.

By the time he after her second birthday, however, the swollen was getting even more pronounced, and Aeyna constantly having fever. They decided to take Aeyna to a local private hospital for futher checkup.

Within days, Aeyna was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma (Liver Cancer).

It's a parent's worst nightmare. Hearing the news, his mother Azilawati and father Shahidan couldn't imagine feeling more heartache.

Azilawati and Shahidan were devastated and overwhelmed by the journey of treatments ahead to cure their baby girl.

'This journey has been emotionally exhausting,' Azilawati, said.

The Hospital (Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital, Alor Setar) that has specialist doctors is located approximately 300KM from their house (Sri Manjung, Perak).

They have spent most of their saving on their baby girl treatment + travelling + renting + loans commitments.

Currently, both of them quit their fulltime job as their baby girl condition are getting worst. They're planning to re-alloacte nearby the hospital and Shahidan need to look for a new job around that area. (He is a Car mechanic)

Azilawati and Shahidan are now feeling hopeless. With no sight of income at the moment, and no other possible means of obtaining financial support. I as a friend take initiative creating this campaign as last attempt to raise the funds urgently to help take some financial burden off my friend Azilawati and Shahidan.

The funds amount is for their 1 year expenses.
