Fighting Systemic Lupus Nephritis of Charisse Lizen

Charisse in known as a very sweet and happy person to all people who knows her... she is very close to her nephews and other kids specially the little ones.. they also known her as "the godmother" or what we call "ninang". Charisse Lizen, was admitted in the hospital since September 28, 2020. She was diagnosed with Sysmatic Lupus Nephritis which her lupus triggers and affects her joints, kidney and other internl organs. She went to chemotherapy and High pulse steroid infusion but her body didn’t react. No output for urine so she needs to do Hi-Flux Dialysis. Now, she is in the Intensive Care UNIT ( ICU) which her lupus affected her lungs. Fighting for her life, asking for prayers and support. Her hemoglobin and creatinine gets low and her immune system as well.

Within more than a month of her stay, she went into respiratory distress and they had to intubate her and still fighting for her life at this point. Our sister’s respiratory condition is still at a stage warranting the full support of the mechanical ventilator, NGT feeding and multiple antibiotic treatment

Our family is devastated with the rapid decline of her condition. But slowly medications give her some improvements. We know that our sister is still holding on and relying on our prayers and support. We all know that this year has been full of struggles and hardships that impacted everyone from every aspect. Especially now our situation due to this pandemic is really inevitable.
