We thought of selling items with our campaign logo to be able to raise additional funds for Gracie’s chemo. We are hopeful, but we are also in doubt if there will be buyers of the items. But here we are, able to sell tshirts, hoodies, mugs and drinking jars! 😍😍😍

To our newly found warriors, MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO!!! We know that you spend your hard-earned money for this, and we will be forever grateful to all of you because every centavo forms a huge part of Gracie’s battle. We are only halfway through this battle, but with your help, we are faithful that we will win this fight! 💪💪💪

“Maliit man na halaga, isang buhay ang inyong natugdungan “ 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

And to our partners Yoe&Yes and Gift Mo, kami ay nagpupugay sa inyong mabubuting puso! ❤️❤️❤️

“Lord, alam namin na Ikaw at tanging Ikaw lang ang kumukilos sa likod ng lahat ng ito. Thank you Heavenly Father for all your blessings Amen “ 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It is true that sometimes, God answers our prayers in ways we never imagined, and through people we never expected.

Thank you Sir Glenn Lacon and Mommy Inday for you help. Gracie is just one session away and she’s all done with her chemo. She will undergo series of tests and laboratory exams after her last session. Your assistance means a lot to Gracie and the whole family. God bless you more. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

In celebration of the 50th Founding Anniversary of Del Rey Ville 1 Homeowners Association, DRHA together with the Holy Spirit Chapel and Holy Spirit Chapel-Youth organized "Indak 2019, Tumitindig, Lumalaban". This is a benefit concert that aims to raise funds for Gracie's chemo and other medical needs.

Gracie's family is renting an apartment at Del Rey Ville 1 Subdivision. Gracie and his husband and eldest daughter are active members of the Holy Spirit Chapel Choir; while her 2 sons serves as 'sakristan".

Our heartfelt thanks to all the organizers of the charity event.

“I will sing of your strength;

I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.

For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.”

At nakakalungkot man aminin, totoo nga ito.

Cost of chemo meds for the remaining 3 sessions

PhP 155,442

Less: total worth of chemo meds from DOH

(Php 102,000)

Cost of remaining chemo meds (will be purchased in cash)

We have friends and we have family; and we've got friends turned into family! Thank you to our friends-turned-family from TS Cruz Subdivision for your cash donations. Gracie's battle against the big C is still far from being over, but who are we to complain if God constantly sends us angels like you.

Thank you also to Dra. Natalie Chico (Gracie's OB-Gyne) for taking good care of Gracie's health. Gracie is also polycystic and we thank Dra. Chico for taking extra good care of Gracie.

“Siksik, liglig, at naguumapaw.”

We sometimes wonder, what good thing have we done in the past that make us worthy of God’s blessings.

Truth is, only Him knows. Because God listens. He knows our pains. And He will never leave us.

God bless us all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you also to the whole Acquire Asia Pacific group, iPrimus-Customer Service, iPrimus-Training and Development, iPrimus-CRT! Gracie was a loyal employee of Acquire Asia Pacific for almost 8yrs, and the love and support you are giving her now only proves that your company doesn’t only nurture talents, you nurture hearts. ❤️❤️❤️

Good news!!!

We already received the grant letter from PCSO. Thank you Mam Shiela Delgado for your assistance. 😘 With the approval of the attending onco of Gracie, Dr. Edwin Tan we can now avail the chemo meds from PCSO. Hopefully, it will cover the 3rd upto the 6th session (depending on the availability of the presribed chemo meds).

DOH also grant us Php40,000 worth of medicines, laboratory procedures, and checkup at Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital.

“Alam namin na Ikaw uli yan Lord. Salamat po sa patuloy Nyo pong pagdinig ng aming mga dasal. “ 🙏🏻🙏🏻

During our lowest point, when we hit what they call rock-bottom, we ask, “bakit ako Lord?”.

But when our life is all happy and colorful and almost perfect, did we ask, “Lord bakit ako?”.

It was Feb 6 when we started flooding your newsfeeds with our posts calling for anyone with a good heart who can donate any amount to help my sister-in-lawG-Anne Alejandro finance her chemotherapy for breast cancer stage 2.

And today, we hit 100k!!! An amount that we didn’t even imagine we will be able to raise in less than a month.

“Alam namin Lord na Ikaw yan. Ikaw ang tumutulong at gumagabay samin. Maraming salamat po sa mga padala Nyo pong mga anghel. “ 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Kami po ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng mga tumutulong at nagdadasal para malagpasan namin ang pagsubok na ito. We cannot offer you anything in return but our prayers, that you will be blessed through God’s countless ways.

And yes, we are Your child, we are blessed, and we are loved. All Glory to You Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

G is an active Church member, reader and member sya ng choir. Last year, she was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Dasal at pananalig. Yan lang ang pinanghahawakan namin sa ngayon.

And we are faithful that the good Lord is under control.

And we are just so amazed how God works. The outpour of support (financial and moral), from family, extended family, friends (and long lost friends), and people we don’t know. We just launched this campaign and we already reached 1,000 fb shares and the funds raised is really heart-warming.

Thank you everyone for being with us in this battle. And all praise to You Lord 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A look back to some of G's outreach activity with her daughter.

Four down, two to go; and on this date, we are done with the 5th.

Gracie is just one chemo away from being cancer FREE!!! YES!!! We are claiming it!

It was a long journey for Gracie and the whole family, but with God's grace, we are able to surpass each day. For with God, we know we can win any battle.

Just like how the Lord parted the sea and let Moses and the Israelites walk on dry land, we are faithful that He will do the same miracle to Gracie if only we will surrender everything to Him.

"The Lord is my strength and my defense;

He has become my salvation.

He is my God, and I will praise Him,

my father's God, and I will exalt him."

God bless us all.

Three down, three to go; and we our just hours away from the fourth. Faith and prayers brought us this far.

We thank our prayer warriors for your unending support to Gracie and our family. And as Gracie once again make another round of chemo today, we ask you to join us in praying for her total healing and fast recovery.

"Heavenly Father, we believe that nothing is impossible to You. Not ours but Your will be done. Please prepare us for Your plans. Amen. “

April 7, 2019

Three down, three to go; and just like that, we’re half way there.

Last April 4, Gracie’s 3rd chemo session was done. It was originally scheduled on the 30th of March, but due to her low blood count, it was rescheduled making sure that her vitals are all good prior to the session.

The session went well but just like the previous sessions, it is energy draining for Gracie. “Nakakapanghina at nakakasuka, at mainit sa pakiramdam”, as how Gracie described the feeling.

Total cost of the 3rd session was Php33,400 (chemo meds + pf + hospital bill). We were able to avail of some chemo meds from PCSO worth Php10,000. Net cash-out is Php24,300. This does not include the pre and post chemo meds, laboratory fees, and the booster shots after the chemo.

This is how cancer and chemo works, it drains your energy and consumes your financial resources. But we are forever thankful to the good hearted warriors for your monetary donations and prayers. With you and with God, we are faithful that we will win this battle.

God bless us all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Below is the estimated cost of chemo meds for the remaining 3 sessions. (Excluding the pf, hospital bill, pre and post chemo meds, booster shots and laboratory fees)

3rd session of chemo ongoing today as of 2:43pm.

As we thank our prayer warriors who has been with us since day 1, we are again asking for your prayers for the complete healing and fast recovery of Gracie.

God bless us all.

One down, five more to go; and we are just hours away from the second.

Here’s my sis-in-law after her first chemo. Her hair started to fall and so she decided to just cut it short. She actually bought a razor so she can trim her hair anytime. Optimistic as she may seem, I can still sense how painful it is for her to bid goodbye to her crowning glory.

Friends, we are again asking for your prayers. May each hair strand lost be one prayer warrior.

“Dear Lord, we believe that nothing is impossible to You. Not ours but Your will be done. Please prepare us for Your plans. Amen. “ 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Based on the Oncologist progress repor (You may check report on the photo section) The next 5 chemo meds would be 259,070. Last Feb 18, G’s daughter went to Caloocan City Hall for Case study and DSWD assistance. Thanks to the assistance of Brgy 163. We were given 6 letters addressed to some of our honorable senators. Request is now pending and for validation. Feb 26 -Documents were submitted to the following institute -PCSO -Phil Cancer Society -DOH We were given medical assistance and is now subject for Oncologist’s approval since the brand of medicine that can be provided by these institute are generic and different from the prescription. We are hoping that it will be approved and positive reaction in G’s body will continue even if we change meds 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Thank you all for all the support and prayers. God bless us all!!
