Campaign Story
Background: Hungry population has continued to grow in Kenya with unfavourable farming conditions being experienced year after year. 60% Kenyans cannot afford three meals a day with a good number going hungry some days. the worst affected arears are the pastrolist areas which sometimes get hit by severe draught to the extent of causing fatalities due to hunger.
Objectives
1- Collect Funds from donors and do the following
a) Buy and offer food stuffs to the currently very hungry and malnourished
b) Start borehole sinking programs in selected worst hit dry settlement areas
c) initiate crop farming and extension activities to the selected pastrolist communities for sustainable food security.
I have a passion and value this project since i reside in one of the affected semi arid arears.
