Fe Daigo Ilisan Road to Recovery

Fe Daigo Ilisan, best known as “Ate Baby”, is a mother and a grandmother.

She is in Surgical ICU for 6 days now, not in good state after her almost 11-hour heart surgery at the Philippine Heart Center but still and will be fighting for her loved ones. She shows very little signs of improvement, baby steps as coined by her doctors. Her family stayed with her as much as they can, hold her hands and gives words of encouragement such as “we are all waiting for you outside when yo outside... hopefully soon in God’s will."

She has been found to have Rheumatic Mitral Valve Diseases in Severe Mitral Stenosis with DM Type 2 and Hypertension.

She underwent Mitral Valve Replacement and Repair last Dec. 12, 2019 on the same hospital mentioned above, but there were unfortunate complications right after her surgery. Her X-ray showed pulmonary edema on the right side and after bronchoscopy her pulmonologist concluded pneumonia, just yesterday they mentioned that her left lung is also affected by the infections. With problems on having very little to no output and increased in creatinine, she was referred to nephrologist wherein sled hemodialysis was started via her right femoral access.

Her medical bills are extremely high as of the moment as she’s been into a lot of medications and procedures such as hemodialysis. Her family has used most of their savings and don’t know where to get additional funding for Ate Baby's hospitalization. Any amount will do, please.
