ESTABLISH A YOUTH EMPOWERMENT CENTER

Hello friends,

My name is Calvince Orwa 26 . Am from Kenya, East Africa. Giving back to the community has always been my passion since my childhood, from being a Sunday school adventurer to organizing charities while in the University. After graduation I decided not to look for employment but to make networks and friendship across the globe, get trustful and daring friends that can together with me start a life changing course that would impact on vulnerable lives and create a change in the community!

Together with other friends we started a youth led non-profit organization in Migori County, Kenya called DUGNA YOUTH EMPOWERMENT CENTER. DUGNA stands for Development and Unity Goals Network Action. Our focus is to establish a fully functional Friendly Youth Empowerment Center that is based on faith. Here we shall provide social, economic and religious support to the vulnerable youths and girl child and roll out antisocial behaviors campaigns to curb teenage pregnancy, Female Genital Mutilation, Early marriages as well as to promote youth culture innovation, nurture talents and teach Christianity. Am appealing to any likely minded champion of peace, love, unity and Development as well as missionary groups and societies to partner/ donate/ collaborate with us to support our course.
