Empower women for Vocational Education and Entrepreneurship in Cameroon.

Hello!

My name is Madeleine. I am 49 years old mum with four children. I am working as a teacher for the last 25 years. No matter the hardness of life, I’ve found a way to improve my passion for creating clothes and education.

I am glad that New Technology gives me the possibility to share this with you and cooperate in order to create a School for Vocational Education in Yaoundé, which will help women to be educated and socio-economically independent. I would really appreciate your support, no matter the possible donated amount, in order to build step by step this school and provide the students with all the necessary equipment. The amount of 2500euro that I am asking for your support, can ensure the operational expenses for buying the equipment and the operational expenses for the first three months.

The classes are organized in long-term and short-term seminars in different fields. The school will give the possibility to the students to learn how they can design and tailor clothes, choose the materials and become experts in using the sewing machine (project for vocational education). Also, they will have the possibility to participate in English and Computer classes. The learners who will successfully complete the educational process will receive a certification which is recognized by the authorities of my country, Cameroon and it will give them the right to work in the selected field.

The actualization of this project will give me the chance to continue gaining my life with dignity and show through action, that even if we cannot change the world by once, we can have a better life no matter the age, the sex and the poverty. With your support this project can increase it's social impact to our community, because education contributes in our protection and prevention.

I'm always tuned with the mother instinct of an active woman who strongly believes in the value of education and solidarity. Grateful for your care and your time.
