Hi! I am Emma Sofia, I am 8 years old and I have Goldenhar Syndrome. This syndrome is rare and is characterized by ocular, auditory, vertebral and mandibular anomalies. With my confirmed diagnosis, a maxillofacial surgery for which I am finally a candidate is a priority, at the Dr. Juan I. Menchaca Civil Hospital in Guadalajara, Jalisco on August 10 of this year. This surgery will consist of the placement of a Mandibular Osteogenic Distractor that I will use for about 3 months, and will allow the doctors through frequent adjustments, an accommodation of my jaw. For all this procedure to be carried out, it is necessary to collect the initial amount of 70,000 mexican pesos.
