EMERGENCY APPEAL FOR YEMENI CHILDREN AFFECTED BY WAR
Yemen has been in war since 2015 and has become the world's worse humanitarian crisis. Literally the whole country has been affected with unimaginable destruction and hunger. The tens of thousands of them have lost loved ones, all too often children. In wars, surviving children are hit hardest by acute lack of food and education.
In times of crisis, Yemeni children have been going to school every single day, learning what they can in this destitute condition, because learning equals to life.
This crowd-funding campaign is about providing essential learning materials (desks, chairs, stationary and blackboards) for more than 400 children in Al-Qadesia School in Aqa'an village, Musaymir District, Lahj governorate, Yemen. The school was bombed to the ground. The more than 400 children have been learning under the sun in a make-shift place with no place to sit or write. If no learning, these children are married off very young or are at acute risk of becoming child soldiers.
Please support these children and families by helping rebuild their school. We will provide photos and videos (if security permits) when reconstruction can start, so that you know that your donation bears fruit.
