Elderly volonteers to Ghana

Hi,

We are two seventy year old women who have a dream of doing something good for people who need help. Through contacts with the Swedish ambassy in Accra we have found a project in Ghana (please visit http://www.greatandoh.com). Unfortunately the web site is only in swedish but the projects goal is to help children create a better future and change the future of Ghana. The project work to make children feel safe and to give them the foundation they need in life.

We have already been invited to visit the project, by Emelie Kanter who started the project. She loved our timing since she is looking for elderly people with lots of experience from life to support younger volonters in the project. We have already prepared in may ways but we lack funding to actually do the trip. We will visit the project during six weeks. We expect our travel expences to be approx 4 750 Euro (6 300 USD). Please help us fulfill this dream!

Once we are off on our trip we will set up a blog where all of you can follow our adventure.
