EGGcellent Tatay with an EGGxtraOrdinary Heart

We've met an old man down the street in the middle of a sunny day, sitting behind a tree, reading a bible.

We used to call him Tatay Amado. He's 67 years old and currently residing at Malibay Pasay City Philippines

Little did we know that that old man has a heart larger than ours.

We approached him and our hearts were moved with his smiles and dreams. He sells a pack of three hard-boiled eggs for Php25 ($0.50) to support his daughter's education. Time passed by and we unveiled that he needs an operation of hernia repairing.

He supports himself and his daughter alone as his wife unexpectedly left him, and so he shouldered all the bargains. He first started as a beggar and the money that he gained is the money he used to buy eggs.

Knowing him for months made us witness what true kindness is. We have been giving him food and a little money, and he did not even hesitate to share it with other vendors and beggars around. It is indeed true that everything you do will be returned to you.

We all know that meeting him is God's way of telling us that in spite of all the harships in life, when we choose to have faith in Him, He will not let us down and He will always bless us.

Tatay Amado's story touched the hearts of many. He is indeed a blessing, and it's time to give back the happiness and kindness he shared.
