EDventure

I was accepted for a leadership program in Costa Rica where I will be working with schools and endangered turtles.  We will be spending our days on the beaches guiding endangered turtles to the shore where they will lay their eggs.  After, the eggs will be transported to a facility where we will protect them from poachers.  When the turtles are almost ready to hatch, they will be taken back to the beaches and guided safely to the ocean to help repopulate their species.  The second part of this trip will be in the villages where we will help educate the youth on the importance of sustainability and recycling.
