EduIkaw is an online fundraising drive to provide tablets for students in need in the Philippines.
This year, millions of students across the Philippines are at risk of discontinuing their education or failing to engage completely with their classes due to a lack of access to digital devices. With cases of COVID-19 continuing to rise in the country, the new norm of digital and distance learning will be a big challenge to these students in need.
KRIS, a non-profit organization advocating for education and peace among young people in the Philippines, needs your help in providing tablets that children can use for school. EduIkaw ("Ikaw" means "You" in Filipino) is asking for YOUR help in raising the necessary funds to procure these tablets and send them to public school students across the country.
Together, we can help students gain an important resource to let them continue their education and pave the way for a brighter future.
Founded in 2008, KRIS started by building libraries, providing scholarships, and donating books and school supplies to young people affected by conflict and poverty in the country.
KRIS’ libraries and programs have impacted the lives of thousands of young people from communities in Metro Manila, Rizal, Zamboanga, Sulu, Marawi, Davao, and more.
