Educational School Trip to China

Hi Everyone,

My name is Vedant and I am a 14-year-old student at Westlake Boys High School. In 2020, I and 29 other students will embark on the trip of a life time to China. During this trip we will spend 1 week as exchange students at Dongguan No6 High School. During the day we will learn how Chinese schools function and in the evening we will be staying with homestay families who will further help us enhance our Chinese language skills. After this we will spend 2 weeks travelling to Shanghai, Xi'An and Beijing. There we will visit famous landmarks such as the Grea Wall, Tiananmen Square, Terracotta Army and Forbidden City. We will also attend Chinese lessons for 4 days at the world renowned Fudan University in preparation for the HSK examination. By going on this trip, I will be able to strengthen my knowledge of Chinese Culture and improve my Chinese speaking ability.

The current cost of the trip is $3500 and I would really appreciate any contributions that would make this amount smaller! Thank You very much!
