Help Ernestine Finish High School

Hello there,

Earlier this year we as a group of young individuals attended a short course hosted at the United World College of Southern Africa,Waterford Kamhlaba called Together for Development(TFD). We learned a lot about working together to better our society as we discussed development in every sense of the word.

One of us Ernestine is in need of your help! Ernestine is a young woman living in Mpaka Refugee camp in eSwatini. She is originally from Congo but was forced to move by political instability.

Ernestine is currently pursuing her high school diploma at a local high school in eSwatini. Unfortunately in the recent past her school withdrew her scholarship with no explanation. Therefore asking for her family to cover the expenses that would arise further.

She is set to sit her final exams next year however, her parents are unable to cover the costs. We need your help to raise funds that will allow for our sister and dear friend Ernestine to complete her studies.

Ernestine is an ambitious young woman and has big dreams. When asked this is what she had to say about her dreams;

"In the future I hope to become a doctor. As it is my dream to help people who suffer from skin conditions which have been on the rise due to deteriorating environmental conditions.

My father lost his life as he did not have access to proper healthcare services and because of this I hope to ensure that everyone has access to proper and cost effective healthcare services.

To write my exams and complete high school I need $750. It is my hope and prayer that you would come to my aid and facilitate my goal is to receive my high school diploma and proceed to University where I will continue to work towards my dream. “ - Ernestine

Team work makes the dream work, they say, and Ernestine has big dreams! So help us be there for our friend as we support her in the final leg of the journey that is high school.
