Campaign Story
Hello beautiful people,
My name is Kais and I am a freelancer and illustrator based in Bucharest. I have been living in Europe for five years where I graduated as a graphic designer from the university of fine arts in Bucharest.
Now what? The great news is that I was accepted into the Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp. (YAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!). Going and studying there feels like the right step for my career and for my personal growth.
It would all be rainbows and butterflies if I was given the same treatment as EU citizens when it comes to paying the fees. However, due to having a Syrian nationality, I would have to pay more than double the fees of any EU citizen. Even though I have been working and living in Europe for over 5 years.
This is where the math comes in. I have saved almost 2000 euros through freelancing which would have been more than enough if I were an EU citizen because their fees are only 1500 euros. However, non-EU citizens like me have to pay a whopping 7200 euros.
If you think that this is unfair and are capable of supporting me by donating money towards my education, then I would forever be appreciative. Not only that, but any person who donates 50 euros or more will be gifted a print of one of my artworks.

I'm soooo happy for you it's finally happening!!! I'm working way to much at the moment and earning a lot, so I can share a bit :) In German we call that »soziale Umverteilung«, and I think it's beautiful ;-) And I want a print of this rabbit-costume picture!!!
