Campaign Story
Eduardo Dantes is a husband, a father and a grandfather who has been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma. Since detection last July 2018, the tumor in his liver drastically increased its size from 13cm to 19cm. The doctors advised him to best undergo a liver transplant which will cost at roughly about Php 5M. Another option to treatment is to undergo TACE (transcatheter arterial chemoembolization). It’s a minimally invasive procedure performed in interventional radiology to restrict a tumor's blood supply. Small embolic particles coated with chemotherapeutic drugs are injected selectively through a catheter into an artery directly supplying the tumor. As per doctor's recommendation, he needs to undergo this procedure to at least 2-3 sessions with 3 months interval. Each session will cost at Php 150,000.00.
We are humbly asking from your good heart to aid and support the continuous treatment of our beloved father. Any form of help will be wholeheartedly appreciated for his hospitalization, medication and immediate medical treatment.
