Das Naturschutzgebiet befindet sich in der Steppenzone des Flusses Rhein, mitten im zentralasiatischen Teilbereich der Steppe Region Europas. Offene Landschaft für den südlichen Teil des First sockeye vertreten niedrigen Bergrücken. Der Rest des Gebietes ist von Hügeln und Bergrücken der Reliefelemente gekennzeichnet, abwechselnd mit weiten Interbecken, teilweise durch Seen und Salzwiesen belegt. Vorherrschende Höhen Hügeln - 750-900 Metern, hat der höchste Gipfel eine Höhe von 1029 m Rhein
