PURSUING THE DREAM

Hello! My name is Jehu D. Derecho. I'm 21 years old. currently living here at Bohol, Philippines. Taking up Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design at Bohol Island State University.

Ever since my younger years I became fascinated by the art of 3d modeling, rendering and animation. Movies like Toy Story, The Incredibles, Shrek influenced me to have this passion even I before knew the term for it. for many years I studied the world of digital art through books, and mainly youtube videos and online tutorials.

currently, I'm skilled with vectoring, logo making, typography, photo enhancing, photo editing, video manipulation and editing. and I use these skills to earn some money when the opportunity is there. mainly I use these talents for our humble church ministry so that my skills won't wore out since the opportunity to earn is scarce

at a very young age I already knew what to do and what to take, and currently I'm entering my intermediate 3d learning phase the same time I'm doing it for my school subjects. but as much as my old laptop can handle photoshop, Illustrator and after effects, it can't handle more intense work like 3d modeling and animation.

This is why I'm starting up this personal funding campaign. 3d rendering and having a lifetime career with it is my life goal, by dream. I frequently look for student jobs here and there but I could not muster enough money to buy myself a suitable PC capable of doing what I love to do. The last thing I want is for my years long learning to be useless and wasted just because I don't have the money for it. I had a laptop that can sort of make up for it, but it died out on me because I pushed it too far. I also tried doing my work in a net hub or internet shop but it only took me so far. now I'm at a full stop. (you can see some of my early 3d works on the gallery)

my goal is 1000usd for my dream PC and 3d rendering equipment and some book purchases online that will help me. I hope I have convinced you to help me on this passion I am pursuing.
