Dream fund

Hello, guys!

First of all, I apologize in advance for such a selfish, shameless request.

I'm sure you know I've had this dream for years - studying in Japan, and eventually gaining employment - but it was put on hold due to #adulting. Our house was repossessed by the bank years back, and I had to help out with that and with finances at home. I've also gone through a lot personally (mostly work-related), and found myself deteriorating physically and, worse, mentally. The past few months have been draining, but I feel like I've been pushed to my limit to get to this point.

I've FINALLY decided to act on my dream. It's now or never; do or die. I'm not getting any younger.

While the money I'll be getting when I quit work (oh, how glorious that sounds!), might be sufficient for matriculation, it won't be enough to cover THE loan (which isn't that big anymore) that binds me to my work. Other friends have been gracious enough to offer loans, which I might take them up on, but also showed support in giving where they can. So I'm starting this, in hopes that I can raise enough money to help pay off THE loan, and, hopefully, get some extra I will be needing for the move. Every little bit counts.

I now have a timetable to work on (school starts in April 2020!), and if I wait until I have enough to pay off everything, it's either I'll be too old, or dead from anxiety. So I've decided to YOLO this moment 😜 I don't want to die regretting not doing this.

Again, it is a selfish request, but desperate times call for desperate measures - and this dream means so much to me.
