Campaign Story
Greetings all! May you have a good day and a positive life.
Some quick background. I have been recently put out of work. I have worked in the F&B and hospitality industry for the past 10 years.
Whilst deep in thought of my situation, I came up with the idea of opening a boutique donut shop in my current place of residence. It is of great note to point out that there is no donut shop anywhere in the current city I live in - Luang Prabang Laos P.D.R.. My partner (soon to be wife) and I have been hustling donuts from a donut chain from Thailand. It has been selling very well as people don't have local access to a good donut shop.
My aim in this fundraising is to raise enough funds for me to open a brick and mortar location to provide for this service. (Currently I am also producing fresh egg noodles as a way to survive)
The funds will go towards rental, equipment purchase, goods purchase, R&D, marketing, and legal expenses. The total amount may in the end be higher then the stated amount but for now, we think that amount set out is the best.
I would like to thank you in advance to all of you, even if you did not donate but shared this information, for helping us out. I know in this times, it is not easy and to help another realize their dreams whilst not getting anything back, that is something those with a heart of gold have.
We truly thank you from the bottom of my heart and I know my partner feels the same too.
