Fundraising for Melbourne Educational Trip

We are students from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in conjunction with The Bachelor of Accounting Council (BACC) will be conducting an Educational Trip to Melbourne in order to expose the students to the accounting knowledge that can be found around the world.

As you may know, each and every country has its own way of managing the accountancy sheet so by bringing the students to Melbourne, it will be a remarkable experience for them to learn the accounting procedures in other countries and sharing the procedure of Malaysian Accountancy to Melbourne Universities.

The event will take place from 27th of August until 31st of August 2019 where we will be visiting few universities and accounting bodies in Melbourne.

The objectives of our programme are to have an alternative to formal learning, where students can have the opportunity of learning in different places and to engage the council with the respective university council to exchange the knowledge and experience to become a better accounting student.

Why Melbourne?

The reason that we choose Melbourne is because the city has one of the best accounting universities in Asian/Oceania region and in the world. Furthermore, there are also few accounting bodies established in Melbourne like the office of CAANZ. At the same time, we would like the students from our university to learn the cultural difference on their ways and syllabus from Malaysia.

For a knowledgeable cause, I hope I have managed to make all of you understand the objective of our Educational Trip. Hence, I hope you are willing to help us to raise funds so that we would have the opportunity to visit Melbourne and be more passionate on the accounting field through this meaningful trip. We also promise that we would be updating on our journey from time to time.
