Donate To Rebuild Destroyed Unlivable House and Temporary Room to Live In

My name is Matthew, I am fundraising for my son Flynt and his mother who live in Surigao City in the Philippines.

When Typhoon Odette (Rai) was on its way, there is little to nothing they could do to prepare for such a thing, but shelter in place and wait till the storm has come and gone. My son and his mother hid in a small ground level room, like a closet, and before long started to hear the strong typhoon winds come through.

After hours of terrifying sounds of destruction all around, they got out of their safe zone, and found that most of their house was gone. Looking up, the could see the sky, no more celling, roof and most belongings had been either destroyed, or swept away and gone by the typhoons extreme winds.

Without a roof, the rains poured in the house, and caused more damage to the little that was left. They still have no place to stay, since there is not even a roof left in their home. My sons school will not allow them to leave the city, as they are now requiring to hand in papers personally to the school, even while classes are completely online. They have a roughly 10x4 foot room they are temporarily renting until God helps them with the money needed to rebuild their home. There is an overwhelming amount of destruction from Typhoon Odette, I pray that we will find help for my son and his mother to rebuild their home again. Thank you, much love.
