Hello! I am Shayne, and my family owns a small construction company in the Philippines.

I made this online funding because as you can see, Metro Manila is on lockdown since March 15, 2020. My family and I were able to provide money and grocery to our workers, however, we were on our last help last March 30, 2020. Our last payment collection from our clients was last March 14– and was distributed to workers for their needs since the lockdown.

Our construction is on “no work, no pay” basis. We are happy to provide for the workers when it was lockdown, however, construction industry is not allowed to work during the lockdown. So meaning, no progress = no payment from our clients. The Metro Manila lockdown may last longer than the said April 13, and I just want to ensure that we can still give groceries and money to our workers since we don’t have more to give anymore— everything was given from March 15-March 30 despite having no work.

With 3000 USD, or about PHP 150,000.00, I aim to give grocery and vitamins for our 150 workers, especially if this lockdown will extend. Extension of lockdown means extension of no work, and extension that we will not receive any pay from our clients.

I hope you can help us provide for 150 construction workers and their families. Most of them live in Kaingin and Pansol, Quezon City, and Cainta and Angono, Rizal. I also aim to include our sub-contractors— those who helped us with tasks but are not under us. Thank you.
