Good Shepherd Academy of Victoria, Inc. is private Catholic school located at Poblacion 2, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro. The students enrolled in this institution are not all well off or can afford to pay their school fees. In fact, almost 98% of the school's Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) students depend on the government's financial assistance namely Educational Service Contracting (ESC) for JHS and Senior High School Voucher respectively. The government assistance received by each student only covers his/her tuition fee. The other school fees and miscellaneous fees are shouldered by the parents and guardians. Because of the pandemic that we are experiencing, there are a great number of students' parents and guardians lost their jobs or got sick, and so they cannot afford to pay their financial obligations in the the school. This is the reason why I thought of this GoFundMe drive for our students, for them to continue and finish their studies until senior high school in our institution. As their present school head I feel I have the duty to help them, but I cannot do this alone... that's why I am requesting for your HELP. Let us HELP a SHEPHERD continue and finish his/her study... Despite our personal concerns, we are still blessed. Indeed WE are GIFTED to GIVE. Thank you so much in advance and may our Good Shepherd bless you all.
