Discover Romania and the Romanians

We want to create a traditional space in which to tell the true story of what Romania is and what its contribution to the world has been so far. The space will bring together farmers, artisans, craftsmen, artists, trainers and facilitators. Each category plays a unique role:

• the farmers will bring local healthy foods: fruits and vegetables, zacusca, telemea, cârnați and other mouth watering products.
• the artisans, craftsmen and artists will bring to life the location through their blankets, table cloths, sculptures, traditional clothing, music. They will also provide craftsmanship and music classes open to anyone who wants to learn old skills or to develop new talents.
• the trainers and facilitators will help everyone become the best version of themselves, will offer training programs for NGOs and companies, will teach children to create a healthy environment around themselves from early ages.

In 2017 we have founded Dare 2 Succeed – an initiative meant to support entrepreneurs and professors allover Europe in their quest to brighten tomorrow. The start was slow and challenging mainly because of the lack of resources. Now, two years later, we managed to create a network of talented and devoted people who are willing to gift their time to support others.

We have managed to support more than 20 start-up companies and to train over 200 people from education. We managed to bring them together in Romania for training, cultural immersion, discovery and fun.

The people that came here were looking for an adventure and an adventure they’ve got. Most of them have chosen Romania despite the warnings they have received from their friends and colleagues for whom Romania is a no-man land, a corrupt and dangerous country in which nothing good can happen. The people that believe this about Romania are those that have never visited it, have never looked it up and have never done any research – what they did was form an opinion based on some biased media release.
