David’s dream career. Help me buy a laptop.

First of all, I would like to introduce myself.

My name is David, I was born in Romania and I currently live in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca, the heart of Transylvania and the "Silicon Valley" of Romania. I am currently studying computer science at a university here, and I'm very very passionate about it. Purely in love with technology. In 2 days time I will turn 20 years old, meaning on the 6th of June :)

Now, why am I trying to raise money for a new computer?

The answer is very simple. I simply can't afford it on my own. Not even a used one. That is because I can barely cover my university taxes and monthly costs including rent. My mom is currently my only financial support, my dad left us a long time ago and we don't keep in touch.
Other than that my only income comes from the few odd jobs that I get to do in my free time, because I spend most of my time studying. With that said, buying a new laptop or computer is entirely out of the question in my current situation. That is why I turned to GoFundMe. My current laptop is outdated, missing a few keyboard keys, freezing up very frequently, the screen is starting to die as you can see in the right bottom corner of the picture I will attach, and it's not able to keep up with today's technologies due to its very weak hardware. I bought it back in 2014 with only $300, just to give you an idea of the performance it offers. I will attach pictures of it and also its specs.

How much can your contribution help me? This is the bigger goal:

Recently, I fell completely in love with software development and computer programming. After a long time searching for a plan for the future, I've discovered that this is truly what I'm most passionate about and what I want to do with the rest of my life. I want to dedicate all my time to create innovative technologies and applications and I want to strive and fight to make a change for the better, to make my mark in this world by creating awesome programs with the power of technology. I am determined to learn continuously in order to bring quality content out into the world that people can truly enjoy. But there is one thing missing. Literally the one thing that stands between me and a potential bright and amazing future for myself is the inability to buy a performant computer that can help me with my programming tasks, learning and continuing to better my skills. Your support right now is my only option, honestly.
