We come to you today with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for help. Our beloved father, a loyal and dedicated family man, is facing a formidable adversary - advanced-stage prostate cancer with bone metastasis. His name is Fermin Javier, and he's not just our dad but also a caring and responsible provider for our family.

At just 66 years of age, he has been our family's rock, working tirelessly to ensure a comfortable life for us. He served as a faithful driver to his boss until his retirement, and we moved to Bulacan, Philippines to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

However, the past year has brought a series of life-altering challenges. It all began with the troubling symptom of difficulty urinating. This seemingly minor issue eventually led to a catheter being inserted for nearly a year. Our world was turned upside down when the diagnosis came in - advanced-stage prostate cancer with bone metastasis.

Dad began undergoing medical treatment for his prostate cancer and the bone metastasis. Just as we were trying to grapple with this devastating news, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. The tuberculosis treatment was essential, but it put his prostate cancer treatment more complicated.

While battling tuberculosis and waiting for the operation intended for his prostate cancer treatment, he faced yet another life-threatening crisis. He was rushed to the hospital due to pneumoperitoneum secondary to ruptured diverticulitis. This led to a challenging 4-hour operation, which, miraculously, he survived.

Now, he is on the path to recovery from this unexpected complication, preparing himself for another operation to combat the prostate cancer that threatens his life.

This is where we need your help, love, and support. The cost of Dad's ongoing medical treatment, coupled with the expenses of his medications, is overwhelming for our family. His daily medication alone costs approximately 8,000 pesos ($142.) We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community to join us in this battle to save our beloved father.
