CSPD Sports Training for Teachers in Tanzania

CSPD organisation conduct Sports Trainining for teachers who teach sports in Primary and Secondary schools in Tanzania mainland. Initially CSPD organisation has managed to conduct training in various regions of Tanzania mainland as follows:-

Iringa from 3-7 March, 2013 and the games were involved are football, netball, basketball and athletics and more than 215 teachers attended the training.

Iringa region from 1-6 September , 2014 the game which wewe involved was handball and more than 75 teachers attended the training.

Njombe region from 2-7 February, 2014 and the games which were involved were Volleyball, netball, football and handball and more than 105 teachers attended the training

Mara region  from 2-7 March, 2014 and the games which were involved were basketball, netball, football and handball and more than 80 teachers were involved in training

Kilimanjaro regions from 15-21 March, 2014 and the games which were involved were athletics, football and netball and more than 70 teachers attended the training.

CSPD organisation it aims to organise more training in various regions of Tanzania and the training wiil involves various types of games.

Also  the organisation is ittend to extend the time of training so that can provide much time for teachers to learn and enable them to be more competent in arena of Sports. The objectives of CSPD Sports training for teachers are as follows:-

To provide suitable Sports Sports Education for teachers who teach Sports in Primary and Secondary school who currently teach sports without proper knowledge

To increase the number of teachers who teach Sports in Primary and secondary schools in Tanzania Mainlad since the revil Sports competition in primary schools there is no sports training program for teachers who teach sports in schools. Hence there is alot of challenges for students to participate in these games such as poor performace in these competitions.

To ehnance teachers to adhere the  changes of rules and regulations in various games since the game or sports are not static but dynamic To enable the network of teachers who teach sports in various regions of Tanzania mainland and exchange ideas on how to overcome the challenges which affect the development of sports in primary and secondary schools in Tanzania mainland.

The target of CSPD organisation is that, each primary and Secondary school in Tanzania mainland should have at least two teachers who are competent to teach Sports. We request  donors, sponsors, well wishers and other stake holders to support our next program for next level of tranining and preminary level of training which will begin around August, 2015 so that we can cover the cost of accomodation, food and refreshment and Sports eqiupment.
